Marcus Plested on St. Gregory Palamas (Zoom lecture)

St. Gregory Palamas (+1359) is honored on the 2nd Sunday of Great Lent each year. In anticipation of that upcoming Sunday (March 28, 2021), this academic lecture should be edifying. It is, interestingly (many would say, paradoxically), given by Zoom to a class of the Angelicum Thomistic Institute in Rome.

Marcus Plested is professor of historical theology at Marquette University. An Oxford graduate, he is author of The Macarian Legacy (OUP Press, 2004) and Orthodox Readings of Aquinas (OUP, 2012). He is an expert on patristic, medieval Byzantine and modern eastern Orthodox theologies.

Enjoy!
